Anthargange is situated in the Kolar district of Karnataka in the Shathashrunga range, about 70 km from Bangalore. The perfect spot for a light hike, Cave exploration and rock climbing. The boulders big and small, have stacked around here form cave like structures. One can go inside these formations and explore around safely. The trail starts with steps. After about 100m we reach the temple with a kalyani. Antara Gange literally means "Ganges from deep" in Kannada. Beyond the temple we trek over boulders, trees, bushes and thorny shrubs n bushes to reach the caves. Very easy to get lost here unless you are accompanied by an experienced guide.
